Got Questions?

Here are answers to some of the things we’re asked most often.
  • We recommend annual wellness exams for most pets to monitor their health and catch issues early. For senior pets (over 7 years for dogs, 10 for cats) or those with chronic conditions, biannual exams are advised to ensure timely care.

  • If your pet experiences severe symptoms like difficulty breathing, seizures, uncontrolled bleeding, or sudden collapse, contact our clinic or the nearest 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital immediately. Keep our emergency contact number handy and, if possible, call ahead so we can prepare for your arrival.

  • Pet nutritional needs vary based on age, breed, size, and health conditions. We recommend high-quality commercial pet food or a vet-approved homemade diet. Avoid feeding human foods like chocolate, grapes, or onions, which can be toxic. Discuss your pet’s diet with your veterinarian for personalized advice.

  • Bring any previous medical records, including vaccination history, and a list of current medications or supplements your pet is taking. It’s also helpful to note your pet’s diet, behavior, and any concerns you have. For your pet’s comfort, bring a leash, carrier, or familiar toy. If possible, bring a stool sample for parasite screening.
